Episode 8

Download Episode 8

This week on Guildcast, omg email.  But first, death, healing, and the new and improved holy trinity.  We also take a look at the War in Kryta, which has reached its culmination for the time being.  We get a couple of final quests, defend Princess Salma, and finally find out what those Medals of Honor are for.  What’s next for Guild Wars Beyond?  As always, we speculate.

We also read email, of which there is a ton.  We love it — keep ’em coming, you guys!  At the end of this episode, we include a very special interview we did with Felicia Day the day after we originally recorded. I was going to wait to include it next week, but I opted to hold off an extra day and fit the interview in. While the entire interview will be over at the Massively Speaking podcast on Wednesday, the parts pertaining to Felicia’s GW2 voice work are included here.

Also, next week we have a big surprise for you guys. What could it possibly be?  You’ll have to wait and see!

About the Sylvari comments, regarding their experience. According to the lore, every sylvari will the knowledge of their ancestors.

I think this comes from certain druidic and shamanic mythologies, where they believe that a tree has knowledge, and every tree has all the knowledge and experience of every single tree before them.

So their comments about experience may be an indication of this.

About the Sylvari, i think if they come from nature, so much their knowledge. Nature has been around for far longer then any race!
