In the absence of huge Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2 news, we bring you an almost-all-email show! We get caught up on your questions and speculation about both games, but not before we check out some of the great information coming from the PAX attendees. Martin Kerstein provided a great roundup of coverage, and we particularly like the footage on GuildWars2Live. The GW2L crew took footage of their own demo time, the professional demo, the meet and greet even, and much more — and it’s all available for viewing on the front page of their site. We love still photos just as much, and Kaden from Crossing Tyria presented fans with a Picasa album filled to the brim with art, swag, and booth photos.
Also, are you lost in Tyria like Guildcast listener Jester? Don’t feel bad — we were all new at one point, and there are more newbies in GW now than there have been in a long time! We’ve got some advice for Jester and for you, including “find a good guild and alliance!”

We’ve got lots to talk about on both the Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 fronts this week on Guildcast! We started with the exciting news on the Thief, including our peek at the class and Shawn’s gameplay time at GDC last week. Today’s demo of the Thief at PAX East gave us even more insight — the demo driver really put the class through its paces!
We weren’t lacking for Guild Wars 1 news, either. The latest Guild Wars patch was huge, adding Embark Beach to the map, changing titles, adding seven hero parties, and putting mercenary hero packs in the NCsoft store. There’s plenty to discuss, and as usual we both have our opinions. We’re anxious to hear yours too, though, so get those comments and emails coming and we’ll see you next week!

Welcome to another episode of Guildcast! We had plenty to talk about this week — Norn week was first and foremost, of course. PAX East is looming dead ahead, and ArenaNet has big plans, so we covered that too! One of our normal random tangents took us down memory lane to Guildcast Theatre, where Togo’s a noob, the ritualists are scantily-clad, and nobody packed a res. Check it out! Finally, we delved into the email pile and covered some great topics, including the question on the varying races’ age spans.
